Master Gardener Class Information

The 2021 class is underway!   It may look a little different than past classes with weekly lectures on-line via Zoom.  In person Thursday meetings will also be offered to review weekly subject matter. Topics covered include botany, turf grass, entomology, fruits and nuts, vegetable gardening, annuals/ perennials, native plants and pollinators, and many many more.  Classes are conducted by OSU faculty or OSU extension horticulturalists.

Applications for 2022 will be available in the November-December timeframe.  Classes usually run January - April.  There is a $175.00 fee for the class.  Two field trips, resource notebooks, and field books are covered in the cost of the class.

Contact John Haase, the Rogers County OSU extension horticulturalist, @ john.haase@okstate.edu for more information

      Eileen,
The next class to become a Master Gardener will probably be late November 2018. You can contact John Haase about attending the 2018 class, and he will send you an application. Or you can check back on the website for the 2018 application, fill it out and take to the OSU office in the courthouse.
Looking forward to having you in our next class! Feel free to come to our monthly meetings with guest speakers starting in February.

      Jennifer P.

You can take the applications to the OSU Extension office on the second floor of the Rogers County Courthouse, or you can mail it to John Haase, OSU Extension, 200 South Lynn Riggs Blvd, Claremore, OK 74017
